IT Infrastructure & Transformation Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Transformation Project Manager to lead the strategic planning, delivery, and governance of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that complex infrastructure projects—including cloud migration, system modernization, network evolution, and workplace transformation—are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives. You will translate high-level business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery and digital capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business strategy into actionable IT infrastructure and digital roadmaps; drive cloud transformation, modernization, and system evolution initiatives aligned with enterprise architecture and long-term digital objectives
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and transformation projects, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, architecture, and external vendors to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with architectural standards
- Build and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource plans; monitor timelines, costs, risks, and dependencies while proactively driving mitigation actions
- Establish clear governance, reporting structures, and decision-making frameworks; ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Act as the key interface between business, IT, and external partners, communicating complex technical topics in a clear, structured, and business-relevant manner
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making through structured recommendations and insights; drive accountability and maintain high delivery standards across all contributors
- Identify opportunities to optimize infrastructure, processes, and delivery models; promote best practices in IT service management, automation, and cloud adoption
- Contribute to the evolution of project management practices and digital capabilities within the organization
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who combine strong technical acumen with exceptional project leadership and business acumen. You should have a proven track record delivering large-scale IT infrastructure and transformation projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Your ability to translate strategy into execution, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively across technical and business audiences is essential. You are a strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex problems, building high-performing teams, and driving measurable business outcomes through technology.
Experience & Expertise Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional qualification
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management, infrastructure management, or digital transformation delivery
- Demonstrated expertise in leading cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, or large-scale IT initiatives
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure domains: networks, platforms, workplace technology, and enterprise architecture
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools; familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) is advantageous
- Experience with budget management, resource planning, and financial forecasting for technology projects
- Track record of managing vendor relationships and coordinating external partners in complex delivery environments
